Foam/Film Underlayment for Laminate Floor Installation

AstroBarrier can be used for any application of a laminate floor that requires a film and foam underlayment, including hydronically heated systems. AstroBarrier's unique construction reduces your floor preparation time by 50%!

Just follow these simple instructions and you are well on your way to having a beautiful laminate floor.

	Unroll AstroBarrier onto concrete floor. It is generally easier to place the film side down. However, the foam side can be placed down if preferred.		Make sure when unrolling subsequent rolls that the film-edge overlaps the adjacent roll edge completely. (If the film overlap is less than 4", taping is required to obtain a uniform vapor-barrier.)
	Allow for a 3" - 4" overlap of AstroBarrier at the perimeter of the room. Let the excess curl up on the wall edge.		Install laminate floor as directed by the manufacturer over AstroBarrier.
