What is Astro/Barrier ?

Astro/Barrier is an all-in-one film and foam underlayment for laminate floors. It can be used underneath any laminate floor that requires a film and foam underlayment, including hydronic heat systems.

Astro/Barrier - Installation Instructions

	Unroll Astro/Barrier onto concrete floor. It is generally easier to place the film side down. However, the foam side can be placed down if preferred.		Make sure when unrolling subsequent rolls that the film-edge overlaps the adjacent roll edge completely. (If the film overlap is less than 4", taping is required to obtain a uniform vapor-barrier.)
	Allow for a 3"- 4" overlap of Astro/Barrier at the perimeter of the room. Let the excess curl up on the wall edge.		Install laminate floor as directed by the manufacturer over Astro/Barrier.
